LOD Certification Courses

The Language of Dance^® (LOD) Certification courses are designed for dance specialists, movement educators and artists, choreographers, dance studio teachers, movement therapists, R-12 (K-12) teachers, dance professionals and students.

Courses are regularly held throughout the UK, USA, Japan and Mexico.

The courses build from a basic introduction of the LOD Approach to delivering it in a variety of ways, such as choreographically, as a teaching methodology, and for work related to movement analysis. Qualifications ultimately lead to Language of Dance^® Specialist status.

All courses are practical and supported by theoretical study based on the definitive textbook Your Move: A New Approach to the Study of Movement and Dance by Ann Hutchinson Guest. The courses can be completed intensively or through modular study. The Language of Dance^® Centre aims to offer courses in a way to suit you.

The LOD Certification courses are:
• Language of Dance^® Fundamentals (Stage 1)
• Develop Language of Dance^® Principles (Stage 2)
• Deliver Language of Dance^® (Stage 3)
