Trustee (Voluntary)

Language of Dance Trust (LODT) is looking for a new director to join its board. It is seeking an individual who can offer skills from an arts, business or charity environment and help support the vision of the LODT.

The Trust's mission is to make creative movement and the dance experience available to people of all ages, genders, cultural background and abilities. Children, in particular, should have the experience of exploring the world of movement (the Movement Alphabet) and discovering how to write down their movement ideas.

Meetings are held in London every three months and directors are required to attend.

LOD Teachers Required

The Language of Dance Centre is looking for qualified dance teachers to hold regular workshops in primary schools in the London boroughs. Applicants should have experience in teaching dance and an enthusiasm for teaching children.  Full training will be provided for teaching Language of Dance, first aid and child protection.

The Language of Dance Centre offers a work experience opportunities, based in the office including research, archiving, database upkeep, preparing required materials, marketing and promotion, fundraising and general administration.

Wherever possible, the LODC offers free attendance to Language of Dance courses in return for work carried out at and for the Centre.
